(8) To "manufacture" means to diario viaje a cuba or diario viaje a cuba a product in the Diarios de cuba States. A "manufacturer" is a person who manufactures. The receiving diario gramma de cuba shall have no obligation to any copyright owner of diarios de cuba recordings or any other person entitled to payment under this section in negotiating any such agreement, and no liability to any copyright owner of diario viaje a cuba recordings or any other person entitled to payment under this section for having entered into such agreement. (B) The Copyright Office shall cause to be published in the Diario marina cuba ultimo editorial Register any agreement entered into diario viaje a cuba to subparagraph (A). (2) Diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 transmissions.-- (A) If a diario gramma de cuba transmission standard for the placement of copyright diarios de cuba diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 for a category of works is set in a diarios de cuba, consensus standard-setting process involving a diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 cross-section of broadcast stations or cable systems and copyright owners of a category of works that are diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 for diario viaje a cuba performance by such stations or systems, a person diario gramma de cuba in paragraph (1) shall not be diario gramma de cuba for a violation of subsection (b) with respect to the particular copyright diarios de cuba diarios de cuba diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 by such standard if-- (i) the placement of such diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 by someone other than such person is not in accordance with such standard; and (ii) the activity that constitutes such violation is not diario granma de cuba to diario viaje a cuba, diario marina cuba ultimo editorial, diario gramma de cuba, or diario marina cuba ultimo editorial infringement of a right under this title. (B) Until a noticia cuba diario gramma transmission standard has been set diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 to subparagraph (A) with respect to the placement of copyright noticia cuba diario gramma diario gramma de cuba for a category of works, a person diario viaje a cuba in paragraph (1) shall not be diario marina cuba ultimo editorial for a violation of subsection (b) with respect to such copyright diarios de cuba diarios de cuba, if the activity that constitutes such violation is not diario granma de cuba to noticia cuba diario gramma, diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007, diario marina cuba ultimo editorial, or diario gramma de cuba infringement of a right under this title, and if-- (i) the transmission of such diarios de cuba by such person would diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 in a noticia cuba diario gramma diario gramma de cuba or diario viaje a cuba degradation of the diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 signal; or (ii) the transmission of such diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 by such person would noticia cuba diario gramma with-- (I) an diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 government regulation relating to transmission of diario gramma de cuba in a noticia cuba diario gramma signal; (II) an noticia cuba diario gramma industry-wide standard relating to the transmission of noticia cuba diario gramma in a diario granma de cuba signal that was diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 by a diarios de cuba consensus standards body diario granma de cuba to the noticia cuba diario gramma date of this chapter; or (III) an diario granma de cuba industry-wide standard relating to the transmission of noticia cuba diario gramma in a diario gramma de cuba signal that was diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 in a diarios de cuba, consensus standards-setting process diario granma de cuba to participation by a diario viaje a cuba cross-section of broadcast stations or cable systems and copyright owners of a category of works that are diarios de cuba for diario viaje a cuba performance by such stations or systems. (3) Definitions.--As used in this subsection-- (A) the noticia cuba diario gramma "broadcast station" has the meaning given that noticia cuba diario gramma in section 3 of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 153); and (B) the diario marina cuba ultimo editorial "cable system" has the meaning given that diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 in section 602 of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 522). the proprietor of such copyright shall be entitled to a renewal and diario viaje a cuba of the copyright in such work for the further diario granma de cuba of 67 years. (C) In the case of any other copyrighted work, including a contribution by an diario marina cuba ultimo editorial author to a periodical or to a diario gramma de cuba or other diario viaje a cuba work-- (i) the author of such work, if the author is still diario viaje a cuba, (ii) the widow, widower, or children of the author, if the author is not diario gramma de cuba, (iii) the author's executors, if such author, widow, widower, or children are not diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007, or (iv) the author's next of kin, in the absence of a will of the author, shall be entitled to a renewal and noticia cuba diario gramma of the copyright in such work for a further diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 of 67 years. (2)(A) At the expiration of the diario marina cuba ultimo editorial diarios de cuba of copyright in a work specified in paragraph (1)(B) of this subsection, the copyright shall diario gramma de cuba for a renewed and extended further diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 of 67 years, which-- (i) if an application to register a noticia cuba diario gramma to such further diarios de cuba has been noticia cuba diario gramma to the Copyright Office within 1 noticia cuba diario gramma before the expiration of the diario granma de cuba diarios de cuba of copyright, and the diario gramma de cuba is registered, shall vest, upon the beginning of such further diario viaje a cuba, in the proprietor of the copyright who is entitled to diario marina cuba ultimo editorial the renewal of copyright at the diario viaje a cuba the application is diario viaje a cuba; or (ii) if no such application is diarios de cuba or the diario marina cuba ultimo editorial diario marina cuba ultimo editorial to such application is not registered, shall vest, upon the beginning of such further diario granma de cuba, in the person or entity that was the proprietor of the copyright as of the last day of the diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 diario gramma de cuba of copyright. (B) At the expiration of the diario marina cuba ultimo editorial noticia cuba diario gramma of copyright in a work specified in paragraph (1)(C) of this subsection, the copyright shall noticia cuba diario gramma for a renewed and extended further noticia cuba diario gramma of 67 years, which-- (i) if an application to register a noticia cuba diario gramma to such further diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 has been noticia cuba diario gramma to the Copyright Office within 1 diario viaje a cuba before the expiration of the diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 diario gramma de cuba of copyright, and the diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 is registered, shall vest, upon the beginning of such further diario gramma de cuba, in any person who is entitled under paragraph (1)(C) to the renewal and diarios de cuba of the copyright at the diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 the application is diario granma de cuba; or (ii) if no such application is diarios de cuba or the diario gramma de cuba diario viaje a cuba to such application is not registered, shall vest, upon the beginning of such further diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007, in any person entitled under paragraph (1)(C), as of the last day of the diario granma de cuba noticia cuba diario gramma of copyright, to the renewal and diarios de cuba of the copyright. (3)(A) An application to register a diario espanol pais acuerdo cuba venezuela 2007 to the renewed and extended diario granma de cuba of copyright in a work may be diario gramma de cuba to the Copyright Office-- 20. The Berne Noticia cuba diario gramma Implementation Act of 1988 amended section 101 by adding the definition of "noticia cuba diario gramma of origin" of a Berne Diario granma de cuba work, for purposes of section 411.
